Breeze of autumn with " Wave " Japanese calligraphy

Soft season has come.
It is quiet and gentle.

Loneliness might be entertained.

Paddy and Lycoris radiata

Mark of harvest season approaching.
Color, and taste. It is the master of Japanese food.

The highest quality rice.

Water, Soil, Regulation, etc.
The farmers have been the best work.

These are the pride of our country.

" 波 " (ha, or nami). It is translated as waves, breakers, undulations, etc.
This character is written by Kanzi, Semi-cursive script.

   Etymology : Phono-semantic compound
    semantic 氵 (water) + phonetic 皮 (skin).

Rice is gently undulating. Slowly and orderly.

We are flexible, and will continue to walk towards the future.
Japanese has created many traditions as unity populations from two thousand years ago.
Maybe in the tomorrow, too...

Expression of the rice terraces is so rich. Art of the four seasons.

Long history has been carved. A lot of rice Terraces are extant in various places.
It seems to be like historical monuments. Farmers keep clean and cherish nature.

  1. Hermoso !!!!

  16. Hello!:) Many thanks for your visit, and nice comment.:) I have been enthralled looking at your lovely photos of the various ways in which rice is grown in your beautiful country, which I had the pleasure of visiting many years ago.The terraces are not unlike the ones we have here in the Douro, where we grow grape vines. I so enjoyed the vídeo clip, and the peaceful sight of mist in the mountains where the rice is grown, in the most artistic way, and listening to the bird song. I would like to follow your blog and learn more about your traditions, and see more of your beautiful photography.
    Warm Regards.

Franziska
