"Wind" Japanese calligraphy
"風" (fū, or kaze). It is translated as wind.
This character is written by Kanzi, Seal script.
Etymology : Phono-semantic compound
phonetic 凡 (all) + semantic 虫 (insect)
The ancient people thought that all living entities appeared with wind.
Eternal fate.
Born in the wind, Gone in the wind...
This seems a very strong character with bold strokes...good, I think, for depicting the wind!
