Sumida River Cruise in Tokyo with " Town " Japanese calligraphy

This river flows through the center of Tokyo.
Old and new various scenery is seen from here.

Tokyo is a mysterious town.

Something always feels like lying hidden.
The various things are in confusion.

Souls of people excited.

The town where wandering is fascinating.

It is Tokyo.

"街" (gai, or machi). It is translated as town, street, road, thoroughfare, etc.
This character is written by Kanzi, Clerical script.

   Etymology : Phono-semantic compound
semantic 行 (go) + phonetic 圭 (stack of clay tablets)

The island far " east " away from your town.
There is this scenery.

The world is magnificent.

do comentário deixado no meu blog.
Se for preciso, recomece tudo outra vez.

    pois com certeza alcançará;

  64. I have visited Tokyo twice - for five days once, a few years ago in early December. A friend and I went because another friend, a jazz singer, was performing at the Grand Hyatt in Shinjuku. We had a fabulous time...the highlight of our trip was getting up about 4AM and going to the Tsukiji Fish Market!!! By 7AM, we were feasting on sashimi, sushi and sake at an empty restaurant!

  67. I loved my five days in Tokyo. I went about eight years ago, with a nurse friend - in mid-December and we stayed at the Hilton in Shinjuku. A good friend of ours, a lovely jazz singer, was performing for three months at the Grand Hyatt nearby and she was so homesick. The trip was to surprise her. We got to meet several forensic nurse colleagues from Japan which was so much fun. They interviewed us for the Japanese Journal of Nursing and an article about us appeared in that magazine!!! We also went to Tskukiji Fish Market at 4AM - back when visitors could still go and were eating sashimi a couple of hours later!!

Tokyo was wonderful...just didn't have enough time there.
