The people of the ancient times might have watched his figure.
And they might have heard his voice...
This kanji character is good for the King. It is Graceful.

La pivoine est une des plus belles fleurs de la terre. Dommage qu'elle ne pousse pas facilement dans tous les jardins. J'habite dans une région calcaire et il est très difficile de les cultiver ici. Il nous reste à les admirer en photo.

ReplyDeleteI humble disagree with you that nature cannot speak to us, for I know Mother Earth and her children do. It certainly is not in words but its language is a combination of sound, texture, colour and movement. In the same way a speechless individual communicates with us through sign language and touch.

The breeze rustling gently through the trees, the soft sounds of falling rain, a cricket chirps, and a bird sings. From the whisper of a falling leaf to the roar of a thunderstorm her sweet voice is always there. She is mentor and muse.

The peony is such a beautiful flower...and I just recently read a lovely book by Lisa See called "Peony in Love" - she writes about Chinese women and I so enjoy all her novels.
