"Once in a lifetime encounter" Japanese calligraphy

     "Once in a lifetime encounter"
Treasure every encounter, for it will never recur...

    "
一 期 一 会"
    ( ichi go ichi e )

This proverb comes from the tea ceremony.
And it is the knowledge of the first on the list of
Sen no Rikyū.
