Gone in the Wind



One lady left this world in 1600, 38 years old.
She was a wife of the samurai.




The drama "Stouthearted lady" is a story of her last moments.
This opera was given the first public performance of in Holy Roman Empire on July 31, 1698.




Her name is "Hosokawa Gracia"
This is a phrase of the farewell poem.




散りぬべき時知りてこそ　世の中の　
　　花も花なれ　人も人なれ
　　　　細川ガラシャ　(1563-1600)

Simply because they know when to leave... 　In this world, 　
　　A flower is a flower. 　A person is a person, too.
　　　　Hosokawa Gracia (1563-1600)

    Its been a pleasure Ruma. Over in the UK they are starting to record where and when the first cherry blossoms appear and they will be doing it for the next 3 years.

    I don't know alot about the Samurai warriors but I do grow the Neofinetia falcata orchid and I know that they held it in very high esteem.

    On se croirait dans la Drôme provençale en Provence en France !!! Le Japon détient des trésors de beauté et de sérénité, à moins que ce soit votre regard rempli d'amour qui nous fait découvrir ce qu'il y a de plus beau dans votre pays, peu importe, ici c'est comme un peu se balader au paradis !!!
