Feeling the approach of a new season

   The smile indicate something next.
   She first has taken off.

Yet, cold wind is surrounding her.

The shape melt into fleeting light.
   The keen-edged snow white.

   Please don't forget me.

After this the snowfall will polish princesses.
The trial is going to wait for them, but.

God must give Ume the best sweet fragrance. (
Ume : Japanese apricot )

    難波津に 咲くやこの花 冬ごもり 今は春べと 咲くやこの花
      王仁 ( ? - ? ) 古今和歌集

The flower which bloomed near the sea hibernated in winter.
Now, spring has come, a flower bloomed.

Princess Sayo regret a lover crossing the sea,
and wags a hand from the top of the mountain.
      unknown authorship
Man'yōshū

   This waka expressed parting sorrow.
When the lover of the Princess Sayo went over from Japan to China.

Matsuura Sayo princess is the legend.
The love is an everlasting story, as for any times.

This prose is written by Hiragana and Kanzi letter,
Cursive script on Kakemono.

This 31-syllable Japanese poem was created about my hometown more than 1,200 years ago.

The flower of Ume seems to be shut in to ice.
Buddha of the temple in Kamakura kindly protects them.

The beauty adds to brightness in coldness still more.

Was th Matsura Sayo Princess from the Matsura clan who were once pirates? I have always wondered whether the princess was from the Matsura clan(松浦党)who mainly lived around Hirado. Or may be she was from another Matsura who lived in Karatsu.
