"Rain" Japanese calligraphy




"" (u, or ame). It is translated as rain.
This character is written by Kanzi,
Regular script.

Etymology : ideograph
The ancient people created this kanji from the state that it rained.
This is the wonderful letter that the Creation was expressed.


Rain looks elegantly.

  3. I like this character, it's beautiful. Often used in other characters, like for electricity, I think. Anyway, it has rained here in Taipei a lot, Ruma-sensei. I hope the sun will shine soon :D
