Dreams falling in snow, the frozen world

A frozen river is lighted up with various light.
   So feel the freezing breath.

   Here is Soun-kyo Gorge, Hokkaidō.

   Situated in the
Daisetsuzan National Park,
   the area is known for
Onsen (hot springs) resorts as well as waterfalls and magnificent cliffs scenery.

   A waterfall is frozen hard.
The term "Sōunkyō" means respectively the layer (層 Sō), cloud (雲 un) and gorge (峡 kyō) in Japanese.

He encontrado el mapa de España en la segunda, curioso :)

Y he visto el mapa de la isla, se asemeja a una raya marina...
La naturaleza, siempre dejando su impronta... ¿o serán nuestros pensamientos los que construyen en mundo?

  28. Hello Ruma, for some reason I haven't been getting your post lately. That is very strange. I was always getting them automatically. I have to see what happened.

I cannot believe a waterfall can just freeze like that! But I know Hokkaido is the furthermost northern island of Japan. I think that is just a bit too chilly for me. The hot springs would be nice, though.

    Amazing photographs as always.
